Not all disabilities are visible - some are not immediately obvious, such as autism, chronic pain, dementia, anxiety, visual or hearing impairment. Living with a hidden disability can make daily life more challenging for many people, but it can be difficult for others to recognize, acknowledge or understand the challenges you face.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is proud to partner with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program to make CLT more accessible for passengers with hidden disabilities. Passengers can request sunflower-branded items in the terminal. These items discreetly indicate to stakeholders around CLT, including staff, colleagues and health professionals, that they may need additional support, help or a little more time.

Sunflower Item Pick Up Locations

• Airport Information Desk (Ticketing)
  Monday-Saturday: 5 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  Sunday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

• Visitor Info Center (Baggage Claim)
  Daily: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.

• USO Lounge (Atrium Mezzanine)
  Daily: 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

• The Club CLT (Concourse A Connector)
  Daily: 5 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

• Airport Chaplains (Found throughout the terminal, wearing blue vests)

• International Arrivals/Customs (Hours of distribution is while Customs is open).
