Description: This piece is an abstract acrylic painting on canvas, with angular shapes and lines. There are many layers of pastel and brightly colored paints applied thickly to the canvas. The surface has a rough texture and is unevenly applied overall. Incisions into the top layers have been wiped away to reveal lower coats of paint. The painting hangs approximately 8’ off the ground in the waiting area of Concourse D.

Commissioned by the Arts & Science Council and the Public Art Commission in partnership with the City of Charlotte.
