2025 CLT Charity Golf Tournament Benefits Renaissance West Community Initiative

The 6th annual CLT Charity Golf Tournament will be held on April 7, 2025, at Cramer Mountain Club in Cramerton, N.C., just west of the Airport and the City of Charlotte. The tournament will benefit the Renaissance West Community Initiative (RWCI). RWCI was our first beneficiary of the tournament and is a longtime advocate of the community. Their 1300-resident neighborhood encompasses residents of The Renaissance and Little Rock Apartments and is located in a food and healthcare desert.

Sponsorship registration is now open. For more information about becoming an event sponsor, please check the tournament website www.CLTcharitygolf.net. Since its inception in 2019, the golf tournament has raised more than $479,000 for non-profits working in the airport’s backyard. Past recipients have included Habitat for Humanity’s Meadows at Plato Price community in west Charlotte, Freedom School Partners and Charlotte Community Health Clinic.

The tournament is hosted by CLT Airport Community Partnerships (ACP), which is comprised of companies that operate out of, are based in, or have business with Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The Airport and its business partners thrive on the west side of Charlotte, and want our neighbors to thrive, too. We believe we can make a difference in our community when we come together.

About the Renaissance West Community Initiative

The Renaissance West Community Initiative envisions an end to intergenerational poverty through holistic community revitalization. RWCI supports educational success from early childhood to adulthood through career development, promotes access to quality healthcare services and empowers individuals with job readiness and financial literacy for economic self-sufficiency.

RWCI works to help families achieve housing stability, prepare area children so they enter school ready to learn and strives to improve upon the community indicators of health for its neighbors.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), a City of Charlotte department, does not discriminate on the basis of disability. We will provide auxiliary aids and services, written materials in alternative formats, and reasonable modifications in policies and procedures to persons with disabilities upon request. To make a request, please contact communityengagement@cltairport.com.
