The Canine Crew is a team of four-legged volunteers that greet passengers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. All dogs are registered, professional therapy dogs with at least six months of experience working as a therapy dog.

From a tiny Pomeranian to a giant Mastiff, dog teams provide canine comfort and support for travelers. Studies show that petting a dog helps reduce stress. The Canine Crew welcomes passengers and creates an engaging airport experience. Want to make a new furry friend? Just look for the Canine Crew! Dogs wear a blue ‘Pet Me’ vest and handlers wear a blue CLT Canine Crew t-shirt for easy identification.

Since the program’s inception in 2015, the Canine Crew has grown in size and popularity. Dog teams love to pose for photographs with passengers and make special appearances at airport events. The Canine Crew looks forward to meeting you during your next trip through Charlotte.
