Orlando and London Remain CLT’s Top 2024 Destinations
Maybe it’s the magic of Mickey, or just travelers seeking fun in the Florida sun, but Orlando continues to top the list of CLT’s top five domestic destinations for the fifth straight year.
Enplanements (passengers boarding aircraft) from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Orlando also increased by 26% over 2019 levels.
New York and Dallas/Fort Worth switched positions from 2023 and are now in the number two and three spots. The Windy City of Chicago once again came in fourth place on this year’s list, while Boston held steady in fifth place. Since 2019, Boston has overtaken Newark’s fifth spot.
